Another great website for all of you to check out – The United Nations Sudan Information Gateway.

Here you can find humanitarian profiles, news and press releases, useful links, and much more.

I found the site’s map catalogue perhaps the most interesting. Take a look at the map documenting UN humanitarian access in Darfur as of May 2006 vs. October 2008.

While strides have been made, it is quite disheartening to see several areas still without humanitarian access.
