April is Genocide Prevention Month and we have quite a few events coming up in the next couple of weeks. Hope you will be able to join us at some of these.

Compassion & Action: Teaching and Discussion Hosted by Stop Genocide Now
Saturday, April 11th at 11a
KTJ and Gabriel (from Stop Genocide Now) recently returned from the refugees camps at the Chad-Sudan border.  Join them for a teaching and discussion with Khen Rinpoche on Compassion & Action. Ghosts of Rwanda

How could it happen that world stood aside and did nothing to stop the slaughter of 800,000 human beings over 100 days?  Come join Amnesty International (Irvine chapter) and Orange County for Darfur as we remember the Rwanda genocide by screening this exceptionally moving and well-done Frontline documentary.  Please rsvp.

Our next performance of the play is at Tapestry UU church is Mission Viejo.  The play will be held in the main sanctuary.  Donations from this performance will benefit GI-Net’s Civilian Protection Program.  Please visit the website for more information.
