OC for Darfur planning meeting on Tuesday, May 26th

Hi everyone,

Last Sunday’s Rally for Darfur (organized by Jewish World Watch) was a tremendous success.  There were over 450 people in attendance!!!  The OC Register even did a short writeup.  You can see all our pictures and videos our blog.

Our next planning meeting is this Tuesday, May 26th.  We’re meeting at Patty’s office in Newport Beach.  Here is the address.

Patty’s office @ 6:30p
2424 SE Bristol Street, Suite 300
Newport Beach, CA  92660

We’ll be discussing:
–  Planning for Mark Hanis’s (President of GI-Net) visit to OC in June.
Our upcoming visit with Congressman Ed Royce next week.
–  Update on our production of “In Darfur” [link].

If you’d like to get involved and help with the planning of any of these activities, we would love to have you come and attend 🙂

See you then.

Since 1998, a brutal war has been raging in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Over 4 million people have died. And there are the uncountable casualties: the many tens of thousands of women and girls who have been systematically kidnapped, raped, mutilated and tortured by soldiers from both foreign militias and the Congolese army.  Join the viewing and discussion afterwards. There is no fee to participate. Click here for more information.
