Orange County walks in solidarity with Darfur
The first ever Rally for Darfur this past Sunday, May 17th (organized by Jewish World Watch) was a tremendous success. We had over 450 people attend from all over Orange County. And the event was even written up in the OC Register.
The event held at Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley brought together about 450 religious leaders, synagogue members, dignitaries and activists to call attention to the crisis in Darfur, Sudan.
Heather Pritchard from our group asked people in attendance why they were there and their thoughts on the situation in Darfur. Here are some of her videos.

The fact that genocide is still taking place in Darfur is heartbreaking and that we still have to make efforts to bring attention to the situation leads me to believe that we have not learned from past Genocides.
What is heartening is that the Jewish World Watch has pledged to help end genocide where ever it takes place. Never again, we should all repeat this, never again.
