Expanding the Circle of Compassion

The 11th Hour – this Sunday!

Today, more than ever before, life must be characterized by a sense of Universal responsibility, not only nation to nation and human to human, but also human to other forms of life.
 – Dalai Lama

Hi everyone,

This email is intended as just one more friendly reminder about Sunday night’s event – we are all very excited about it and we want you to be a part of it!

Orange County for Climate Action (a recently formed partnership between Living Ubuntu and United Nations Association of Orange County) is hosting its very first event this coming Sunday, November 23 6:30p in Irvine.
We will be screening the powerful, extremely well-done film, THE 11TH HOUR, introducing you to OCCA, and having a conversation after the film exploring what we all can do at this critical, essential choice-point in our shared history.

Note: For those not familiar with this venue, the Irvine Ranch Water District Community Room is located inside the building that is to the left when first entering the complex from Sand Canyon, and the Community Room entrance is located at the far left side of that building.

Please come join us. See details below, or visit the OCCA web site to view the film trailer or RSVP: click here.

See you Sunday!

About the film: The 11th Hour is a film about the state of the global environment including visionary and practical solutions for restoring the planet’s ecosystems. Narrated and co-produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, a group of respected experts speak from their areas of knowledge about how we are despoiling our planet, and what we might possibly do to turn things around. We don’t have much time.
