Expanding the Circle of Compassion

We live in turbulent times – and still have so much to be grateful for.

The creatures that inhabit this earth–be they human beings or animals–are here to contribute, each in its own particular way, to the beauty and prosperity of the world.Dalai Lama

Hi everyone,

Thanks to everyone who came out Sunday night to attend OCCA’s first event, A Screening of THE 11th HOUR. We had a great turn-out and a very lively conversation afterward. If you missed the event, here is a link to the petition we featured that night, seeking for St Joseph Healthcare to divest from fossil fuels. Your participation is greatly appreciated.

Did you know that way back in 2010 the European Union and the United Nations called for a global shift to a vegan diet to survive hunger, poverty and climate change? (See video above.)

For those open to exploring how to get more in line with this urgent, and mostly ignored call for change, the below link offers a few suggestions for how to begin. 🙂

The Greatest Recipe Guide to a Vegan Thanksgiving

We live in turbulent times – and still have so much to be grateful for.

May we all find ways to bring consciousness and compassion into our consumption this Holiday Season.

BTW: Below please find details about Living Ubuntu’s upcoming events including our 10th birthday celebration: Toward a More Peaceful World, featuring Dr. David Berceli. (Early registration ends 12/19.)

Grateful for your continued engagement and support,
