Early registration for Mac Eaton’s workshop ends this Friday, Jan 22nd
Hi everyone,
It seems as if uncertainty is everywhere these days. So many of us are dealing with it in many different areas of life — the holidays were stressful, the economy remains shaky, the wars in Afghanistan and the Middle East continue, our politicians are still fighting over health care, and now the earthquake in Haiti… there is much anxiety in the air. Is it any wonder we feel so frenzied?
In such moments it is difficult to live “ubuntu”, connected to ourselves and one another. Exploring these issues in our personal relationships can be challenging. If we’re lucky, friends and family will listen to us (but only for so long). How is this affecting our bodies? Shoulders are up, the neck is tight, lower back aches, and even when we try, it’s difficult to take a deep breath. When our thoughts are already spinning, it’s an illusion to think that we can simply think our way out of these situations. Our bodies (and health) end up paying a steep price. How can we find a way through?
I hope you will join us at the end of this month at When Anxiety Holds You Back by Mac Eaton. Mac is a heartfelt, compassionate speaker and we are honored to have him present. Early registration ($40) ends this Friday, January 22. If there are any financial concerns, please do get in touch with us. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
All details are on the website. Hope to see you there.

“The defenses we erect to protect us create the very condition we are trying to avoid. Thus, when someone builds a castle to protect his liberty, he ends up as a prisoner in his own castle because he dares not leave it… No person is free who is tied to a defensive position.”
