Together we can send a message from Orange County to Washington DC that we will not permit genocide on our watch. We will re-sanctify the words, “Never Again.” There is strength in numbers so bring your family and friends. Spend an hour doing something that can make a difference!

Hillel said it best, “If not now, when?” Maybe it is cliché and overused, but that statement speaks to the question of, “What can be done and how?”  How can we, snuggled nicely and safely in Orange County, have an effect on a country so far away? I have been a part of meetings where people question the action of helping others “so far away.”

Here is my answer: whether it is the Jews of Venezuela, the Muslims of Yugoslavia, or the people of Darfur, to save a life – according to the Talmud – is to save the entire world. This is the reason we must step in.
